Xugana Lagoon is one of the most important permanent-water lagoons in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. It is located in the eastern/central Okavango Delta, within a private concession, and is famous for its clear permanent channels, papyrus-fringed waterways, islands and abundant aquatic wildlife. It is particularly well known for mokoro excursions, motorboat safaris, fishing, birdwatching and guided walks.
The lagoon is home to Xugana Island Lodge, which sits on a wooded island overlooking the lagoon. Guests normally fly into Xugana Airstrip (FBXG) and continue by boat to the lodge.
